LetMeShip – new supplier connection ensures greater transparency of costs and actions

For more than 20 years, the Multi Carrier Shipping Provider LetMeShip has offered a unique range of functions to harmonise decentralised shipping processes, reduce costs and save time. With the updated supplier connection, LetMeShip customers have the possibility to invite all their suppliers to participate in the system. The benefits for the customers are full transparency and control over the costs of their shipments, especially for imports. This is because suppliers use the same negotiated shipping conditions as LetMeShip customers.

Hamburg, 27-10-20 – Until now, it has been a great challenge to involve suppliers in the complete shipping process and to maintain transparency regarding costs and all processes when importing goods, pallets or documents. With LetMeShip this problem has been solved and the new supplier connection offers the customer full cost and action transparency for all shipments in one system.

The supplier books on the same shipping platform under his own login at the same negotiated conditions as the customer himself. Thus, especially companies with a worldwide import of goods benefit, as they have control over the flow of goods including shipping costs at all times. For certain deliveries, the customer can specify the type of dispatch and the dispatch service provider and can even enter a delivery reference, e.g. an order number, a supplier identification or important information for the goods receipt process as a mandatory field.

We are constantly expanding and improving our offer and the functions in LetMeShip. Through the new supplier connection, we not only provide our customer with total transparency of shipping costs, but also full control over the range of functions, in order to save time and thus costs, even after the fact, for example in invoicing processes. Thus our customers can book the shipments of their suppliers at the same conditions. With our sales team and our personal customer service we are very close to our customers and their needs and therefore we know how to support their work. ” says Martin Borelius, Regional Director DACH.

After a supplier has made a booking on the LetMeShip shipping platform, the customer receives a confirmation email with a tracking link, so he always has an overview of all supplier shipments. Invoicing is also done via the customer’s account, and he has access to all invoices at all times.

On the free shipping platform www.letmeship.com reliable shipping service providers such as UPS, TNT, DHL and FedEx can be compared quickly and easily and booked at fair prices, whether express or standard, document or pallet.
