ITA Logistics Group invests in AI startup Synkka.ai to accelerate supply chain automation
ITA Logistics Group has made a strategic pre-seed investment in the AI startup Synkka.ai. The goal: to bring artificial intelligence into the heart of logistics tech and jointly build next-generation supply chain infrastructure. This early-stage collaboration is based on a win-win philosophy, combining Synkka’s cutting-edge automation with ITA’s deep logistics know-how.
Hamburg, 31.07.2025. ITA Logistics Group announces a strategic investment in Synkka.ai — a fast-growing startup that automates carrier integrations using artificial intelligence. Synkka’s AI-driven integration Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) reduces setup times from months to days and minimizes the engineering lift traditionally required for scaling delivery networks.
The investment is part of ITA Logistics Group’s broader innovation strategy. “This is more than a financial stake — it’s a partnership based on complementary strengths,” says Peter Weber, CEO of ITA Logistics Group. “Synkka brings AI expertise, we bring logistics experience. Together, we can shape the future of scalable, intelligent parcel infrastructure.”
ITA Logistics Group founder Mark Winkelmann will join Synkka’s Board to support the company’s strategic development.
Synkka’s technology has already shown strong traction. In just two months, the team used AI to build 20 carrier integrations — a process that would normally take up to two years. The startup recently completed an oversubscribed funding round with participation from logistics leaders at ZigZag, Sendify, LetMeShip (ITA Logistics Group), and others.
