What started in 2000 as the first online shipping platform to bring transparency into the shipping jungle, has developed into Europe’s leading shipping software in the B2B sector in the last years. The need for a flexible solution for multi-carrier dispatch processing in companies has been the cornerstone of LetMeShip yesterday and today.
In 2000 the business idea was born from the diploma thesis of managing director Mark Winkelmann. Together with his brother Boris Winkelmann and father Fritz Dieter Winkelmann, the online shipping platform LetMeShip was launched on February 7 in 2000. Since its foundation, Mark Winkelmann has been committed to the innovation and uniqueness of the business idea, which has helped LetMeShip to achieve successful and sustainable growth in recent years.
From the initial idea of an online price-performance comparison for shipping service providers, LetMeShip has meanwhile developed into a software house with its own development department. With both solutions, companies have the option of implementing their own shipping rates. Alternatively, customers can still switch to LetMeShip rates at any time. This offers them even greater flexibility in the shipping process – even across different locations.
