How much do haulage costs amount to?
As always, the costs depend on what needs to be transported and where. Direct deliveries or bulky goods always incur higher costs than a standard pallet or parcel. For international shipments, however, any costs incurred for customs clearance are already included in the shipping price. Particularly valuable freight should always be insured additionally – our staff will be happy to advise you on this.
What information is required to book a haulage company?
Your request must contain precise details of the contents, dimensions and weight, the collection address, the planned collection time and the delivery address. In the case of freight forwarding, the carrier will bring the consignment notes with them when the goods are collected.
What goods can I send by haulage company?
Particularly large or bulky goods and heavy freight weighing more than 31.5 kg must always be transported by a haulage company and secured on pallets or in a mesh box so that they can be picked up by a truck. However, smaller parcels or urgent documents can also be sent this way without any problems.
