How long does an express document take?
With express shipping (including DHL Express, UPS and FedEx), your documents are usually delivered nationally on the next working day and sending documents internationally within delivery time will be 1 to 3 working days. Why is LetMeShip cheaper for document shipping?
We have special agreements with all major courier services and, thanks to our high shipment volume – over 3 million shipments per year – we receive special conditions that we pass on to our customers and that they cannot negotiate themselves. The discount is based on the shipping volume.
What can be sent by express document delivery?
With express document delivery, you can send contracts, certified documents, freight documents and tender documents. When sending documents, all documents that require absolute security can also be handed over in person on request. Please note that this type of delivery is limited to documents only.
Can I insure express document delivery?
To insure document delivery, you can optionally book the LetMeShip Guarantee during the booking process. This costs £7.50 and covers a value of up to £500.
What do I need to consider when packaging documents for shipping?
Depending on the shipping service provider, special shipping bags must be used for document shipping. These are usually brought by the driver upon collection. We always provide shipping bags free of charge to existing customers. Please ensure that your shipping label is clearly visible. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team.
Where can I send important documents by express delivery?
Basically, you can send express documents to (almost) any destination worldwide. For businesses, we also offer services such as our Same Day Delivery (or next day delivery) or Onboard Couriers. As this is a special delivery service, it is best to speak to our Customer Service team in person so that we can understand your requirements and offer alternatives if necessary.
